ZERO WASTE Future Projects

Buy Less. Choose Well. Make It Last

At Zero Waste we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the plastic-free movement through a zero waste supermarket. We believe in taking action in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues of the pollution. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the change towards that zero percent.

You Can Make a Difference

No Plastic - No Pollution

Have an Impact

This sustainable supermarket is centered around promoting the plastic-free solution and refusing all kind of single-use packaging. These are avoided in favor of recyclable, compostable and reusable materials. We will use recycled paper, glass containers, paper bags and using bulk for legumes.

Bio Products

Everything Local

By using local food we reduce the amount of pollution caused by the transportation and support local businesses. Moreover, we will promote products that will contain no chemicals like cleaning products, detergents, body soaps... Anyone who wants to contribute with their own products, as long as they're eco-friendly, will benefit from the cause. Like this not only will we choose good quality items but also prioritize the fact they will be plastic-free.

Volunteer Your Time

Help Us Soar

This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. The concept is simple, by volunteering time to working in the supermarket you will get a 15% discount in all products. Through this we will achieve a fair exchange between the community and the motivation for change, boosted through this supermarket.

Because of Covid-19, a huge plastic pollution increase has come from masks, plastic gloves and hand sanitizer. By promoting textile masks, a more natural sanitizer and reusing the gloves: we will be addressing this issue and we'll reduce the amount of single-use plastic used by normal supermarkets everyday.

Learning and Experiences

The Zero Waste Supermarket will also provide new and innovative workshops to learn and to inform people not only in the plastic situation, but how to solve it. Through this, people interested in making a change will learn alternatives to single-use plastic and spread awareness.
